We plan the first few weeks of your child’s time at Park Avenue in a way that makes the transition as smooth as possible.
During the first few weeks, you can expect:

• A tour of your child’s classroom, an overview of your child’s daily routine.
• A photo of your child’s first day.
• A lot of face-to-face communication.

Our policy is open communication. Our teachers are always there to answer any questions parents may have. And our open-door policy means parents are always invited to stop by and experience Park Avenue programs in action.

Philosophy at Park Avenue is that secure relationships with respectful and reactive adults provide the fundamentals for all learning in children. Our teachers and staff aim to make parents part of creating positive environment in our classroom and at home. Our intense effort is about children’s growth, development and achievements.We always acknowledge and understand the swift pace of today’s day to day life and work to ease the pressure modern families face, we are happy to partner with dedicated educationally minded families who share these goals.

Partnership with families help us to understand and be receptive to the cultural and individual differences of each of the children trusted in our care. We encourage parents to get involved in their child’s activities and our open-door policy doesn’t end in the classroom. Our administration and staff members welcome your input and the opportunity to talk about your child.
We know that enrolling in or switching to a new school can be hard, so we’ve made it easier for new parents to make the transition. Our knowledgeable, caring and highly trained teachers are a strong resource for educational issues.
